The original Acura NSX challenged the way supercars were supposed to look and feel. The Japanese luxury maker aims to deliver the same sort of shock with the 2016 NSX – the production version of the concept first shown at the Detroit Auto Show three years ago.
Sleek and sinuous, the 2-seat sports car is expected to deliver Ferrari-like acceleration using a unique, 3-motor hybrid system that will also yield great fuel economy. Look for a $150,000-plus price tag when the new NSX goes on sale next autumn.
