Hamas has warned international airlines against landing at Ben Gurion International Airport starting at 6 a.m. Thursday. The warning, from a Hamas spokesman in a televised statement, followed claims by a masked spokesman for the Izz-el-Din al-Qassam Brigade that an Israeli airstrike in Gaza had missed its target, Mohammed Deif, military commander for Hamas, Reuters and Haaretz reported. The airport in Tel Aviv was among the Israeli strategic interests the spokesman warned would come under further Hamas rocket fire. Airlines temporarily suspended flights to Israel a month ago after a Hamas rocket fell within a mile of the airport.
