  1. Investing Trends & Energy Reporter, CNBC PRO

    The CNBC PRO team is looking for a Reporter will be responsible for writing about investing in trends that are shaping are world, often about the ever-important energy landscape. Experience writing about the world of oil and gas, energy and renewable energy is a plus.  The type of stories will include quick-hitting short stories based on stocks moving that day. Along with these stories, the reporter should develop bigger stories about investing trends and how to get behind them. The reporter will be responsible writing multiple short stories a day along with developing longer term stories.   2. Reporter, Pharmaceutical

    CNBC Digital is looking for an experienced reporter to cover Big Pharma, biotech, the latest drug developments and treatments, company earnings and executive compensation. This person will be equally comfortable writing up the latest clinical trial news, earnings release, M&A deal or government investigation and will have sources inside the companies and with other key decisionmakers.

    Duties include:

  4. Associate Platforms MSNBC Weekends, News Digital

    MSNBC Digital is looking for an associate platforms editor to join its platforms team to work weekends. The editor will curate MSNBC’s homepage and distribute its best columns, blogs and video across its social channels.

    The ideal candidate is a news junkie who is passionate about digital journalism and who wants to hone their craft with one of the best teams in the business. They’ll have an opportunity to work on the biggest news stories as they happen, including the midterms, and get experience publishing to the highly trafficked platforms of a national newsroom. A strong interest in digital and mobile trends is a must, as is a depth of knowledge about how audiences consume news across social platforms. The role is best suited to someone who has interned in a digital newsroom and is looking to find their professional footing.

    * Serves as the lead digital editor for the TODAY Show on Saturdays and Sundays, collaborating with broadcast team on editorial and social media content

    * Assigns, edits or self-publishes stories on news of the day on weekends.

    * Manages social media on weekends, programming new content produced on Saturdays and Sundays.

You’ll have a hand in developing our commerce content footprint by pitching, reporting, writing and updating easy-to-understand yet compelling articles created around data-based reader interests, search trends, seasonality and more.     Demonstrated experience and success ideating, writing and editing actionable and reported consumer articles with a focus on service journalism is a must — experience with commerce content is a big plus.

We’re currently looking for a strong and creative Food Recipe Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a trusted passion in all things culinary with proven expertise.   10. Platforms Editor, Evenings, NBC News

    NBC News Digital is looking for an experienced editor to join its platforms team in Los Angeles. Reporting to the deputy director of owned platforms, the editor will play a key role curating NBC News owned and social platforms in the evenings PT, Mon-Fri, and in ensuring a smooth handover between the platforms team in LA and London.

    The ideal candidate has strong news judgment and a talent for writing eye-catching headlines, alerts and social copy. The role requires an understanding of digital audiences and mobile trends, and experience reading real-time analytics and data.

    The role requires accuracy and speed in high-pressure moments. We’re looking for a creative thinker who can multitask, meet deadlines and isn’t rattled when news breaks or plans change. The editor needs to have immaculate attention to detail and understand the importance of delivering an engaging and diverse mix of content on different platforms. They also need a breadth of knowledge about national and international stories and experience publishing in a content management system.

  11. Email Marketing & Operations Mgr, Ecommerce, News Digital

This role will work with our Audience Development and Engagement team to manage daily operations, including campaign management, performance analysis, and editorial optimization. Supporting customers through phone, chat, and email support, the agent will play a critical role in ensuring that every DTC customer gets the help they need while feeling heard and valued.     * Partner with Associate Manager of Customer Experience to QA and coach junior members of the customer care team on Customer Care best practices.

    * Foster good working relationships with internal and external partners through cooperative, open communication.

    * Have strong work ethic with a high level of empathy, patience and enthusiasm

    * Have excellent attention to detail

    * Have excellent verbal and written communication skills

    * Able to gauge, adapt and respond to different types of characters

    * Able to multi-task with great time management and organizational skills

    * Tech savvy and able to learn new platforms quickly

    * Min. 2 years of customer support experience, especially in phone support

    Preferred Skills:

    * Bachelor’s degree in related field

    * Experience working in subscription business

    * Experience with Zendesk

    * Experience with PIano and Braintree Payment
