On March 27th, 26-year-old Iraq veteran Chase Massner disappeared.
Massner served a year in Iraq before returning home three years ago. According to his wife Amanda, he struggled after his discharge.
"Since he got back, he's had ups and downs with struggling with his mental stability," his wife told local NBC affiliate 11 Alive.
Massner was last seen at his friend's house on Farmbrook Lane in Kennesaw, GA, wearing a red sweatshirt and khaki pants. He is 6'2" and weighs about 175 pounds. He has several identifying tattoos, including ones on his arm of a treasure chest, an angel and his last name, and two roses on his right pectoral muscle.
"No matter what it is that he is going through right now, his family loves him," Amanda told 11 Alive. "We are here for him and we just want peace of mind that he is okay and that he is safe and we want to help him and we went to be with him and we want to get through this together."
If you have seen him, or have information on his whereabouts, please contact the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office at (678) 493-4200.
