Maria Shriver, Oprah Winfrey, and Katrina Gilbert host a Google+ Hangout to discuss "Paycheck to Paycheck," the recently aired HBO documentary which follows Gilbert’s daily struggles to provide for her three children while earning minimum wage as a nursing assistant. The documentary builds on the focus of the latest Shriver Report: “A Woman’s Nation Pushes Back from the Brink” in partnership with the Center for American Progress.
Guests on today’s Hangout include two women who supported the documentary by hosting screenings: business consultant and entrepreneur Denise Buchman and Kim-Marie Saccoccio, the executive director of Women AdvaNCe in North Carolina; and Charlene Carruthers, the national coordinator for the Black Youth Project 100.
