ORIGINAL ARTICLE (January 19th, 2015):

It has been more than a month since Angela Russell’s family has seen or heard from the new grandmother from Splendora, Texas. The 45-year-old mother of five was last seen just one day after her daughter-in-law had given birth to twin girls.

"It's horrible. She means the world to us," Peggy Stewart, Russell’s sister, told NBC affiliate KPRC.

According to Russell’s family, Angela was supposed to pick up her son, daughter-in-law, and their newborn twins from the hospital on December 19th, but never showed up. Family members said it was extremely out of character for her, and they quickly sensed something was wrong.

“I don't know if she's had a heart attack because she had one the previous month and she also has diabetes," Stewart told KPRC. "So, I don't know if she has her medicine with her.”

Investigators with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office told KPRC Russell’s disappearance appears suspicious, but no other details have been released.

Russell is described as 5 foot 9 inches tall, 200 pounds, with dark hair. If you have any information that could help bring Russell home, please call the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office at (936) 760-5800.
