UPDATE (November 26th, 2014):

Police announced on Wednesday that missing mother of three Jessica Padgett's body has been found and her stepfather has been charged in her murder.

Officials say Gregory Graf admitted he shot Padgett in his home and disposed of her body, according to local NBC affiliate NBC10. District Attorney John Morganelli said the motive appears to be related to sexual assault.

Padgett disappeared on Friday, November 21st, after taking a break from work to send a fax at Distinctive Fence, a business located at her mother and stepfather's home. Her body was found on the property, and officials say she was shot twice in the back of the head.

ORIGINAL ARTICLE (November 24th, 2014):

Concern is growing for missing mother of three, Jessica Padgett, who was last seen leaving her job at the Duck Duck Goose Day Child Care center around 1:00pm Friday, November 21st, in Northampton, Pennsylvania.

Officials say Jessica took a break from work around noon, called her husband around 1:00pm, and was on her way to fax some paperwork at a nearby business when she vanished.

The 34-year-old’s white Subaru Outback with her cellphone inside was found in the parking lot at the Dollar General store about a mile away from the daycare. However, police say there are no obvious signs of foul play.

"She wouldn't just not go back to work," Kristi Davis, Jessica’s sister, told local NBC affiliate NBC10. "They're not sure if she was taken, if she left on her own or if she knew the person. There wasn't a sign of a struggle. So we're not sure what happened."

Thousands have taken to Facebook and joined the ‘Help find Jessica Padgett’ page to organize efforts to search surrounding areas and post fliers. "This is not something that happened at night," Jim Wilkins, a friend of Jessica, told NBC10. "This was smack dab in the middle of the day. The community needs to be made aware because somebody out there knows something."

Jessica is described as 5’4”, 130 lbs., with brown hair and hazel eyes. She was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt from the Duck Duck Goose center and grey sweatpants with her hair in a ponytail.
