#HeterosexualPrideDay Sparks Outrage - and Humor - on Twitter

The hashtag #HeterosexualPrideDay, which started trending Wednesday on Twitter, has ignited a mix of outrage and humor on social media.

Did you know about Heterosexual Pride Day? Neither did we - until this morning, when Twitter was set ablaze with a mix of outrage and humor over the trending #HeterosexualPrideDay hashtag.

While many of the tweets dismissed the need for such a day - especially during LGBTQ Pride Month - other tweets simply expressed support of for all love - gay, straight and everything in between.
