Oeuf, a Brooklyn company, recalled 14,000 infant cribs Tuesday. The slats/spindles and top rail can detach from the cribs and pose an entrapment hazard to a child, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission.
The recall includes four models of Oeuf Sparrow cribs, manufactured between July 2007 and January 2014, with the following model numbers: 1SPCR, 2SPCR, 4SPCR and 5SPCR.
The cribs were sold at independent juvenile specialty stores nationwide and online for about $800. Consumers should immediately stop using the crib and contact Oeuf to receive a free repair kit.
