Misbranded cans of SpaghettiOs with Meatballs are being pulled in five states.USDA

Campbell's Soup officials are recalling 1,920 cans of the firm's SpaghettiOs with Meatballs pasta product after they were accidentally shipped with labels bearing the name of Swanson's 100 percent Natural Chicken Broth.

The products were pulled after two consumers reported the mistake, according to a notice issued Friday by the U.S. Department of Agriculture. The cans, which amount to about 1,740 pounds of SpaghettiOs with Meatballs, were produced on July 24 and were sold in five states: Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana and Mississippi.

The product was recalled for mistaken labels, but also because the Swanson's broth label does not declare wheat, soy and milk, known allergens in the pasta product, according to Carla Burigatto, a spokeswoman for Campbell's Soup Supply LLC, based in Paris, Texas. The company has received no reports of adverse events.
