Retired CIA Officer Tyler Drumheller will appear on MSNBC’s “Hardball with Chris Matthews” Tuesday, April 25. Drumheller was head of covert operations in Europe until his retirement a year ago and is now speaking out about what he says is a “policy failure” in the United States’ decision to go to war in Iraq.

In an interview on CBS’ “60 Minutes” last night, Drumheller said that the president and his staff ignored CIA reports that the Saddam Hussein did not have an active weapons of mass destruction program.

Drumheller’s interview will air on “Hardball with Chris Matthews” Tuesday, April 25 at 5 and 7 p.m. ET.

"Hardball with Chris Matthews" airs Monday through Friday at 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. (ET).  Tammy Haddad is executive producer.  NBC’s David Gregory will be substituting for Chris Matthews, who is on vacation this week.
