Does Kevin Federline have more reason than most to celebrate fatherhood?

The former backup dancer is expecting his second child with wife Britney Spears (he has two others with a former girlfriend) but a source says K-Fed might have more reason than many to celebrate the pitter patter of little feet.

“Before he got married, Kevin was sitting down with lawyers, discussing legal and financial issues,” says a source. “He was sitting sort of slumped over with a baseball cap over his eyes and a lawyer was talking about how he had to sign a pre-nup and Kevin looked sort of bummed out. But then the lawyer explained that for every child the two of you have together, you would receive X amount of dollars. His eyes really lit up.”

Standing by her statement
Linda Ronstadt isn’t changing her tune.

The “Desperado” singer made international headlines when she was ejected from a casino in Las Vegas in 2004 after praising Bush critic and filmmaker Michael Moore as a “great American patriot.” Now Ronstadt is doing an encore.

“The Dixie Chicks said they were embarrassed he was from Texas,” Ronstadt recently said while touring in Canada. “I’m embarrassed George Bush is from the United States.”

“He’s an idiot,” Ronstadt told the Edmonton Sun, adding, “He’s enormously incompetent on both the domestic and international scenes.” She also defended performers’ rights to talk about politics. “Was it wrong for people like Peter, Paul and Mary or Joan Baez to speak out against racism? I think they educated a lot of people about something that was terribly unfair,” she said. “Now the fact that we were lied to about the reasons for entering into war against Iraq and thousands of people have died — it’s just as immoral as racism.”

Notes from all over
Lindsay Lohan
is reportedly looking to open a tattoo parlor. “Lindsay wants to create a complete brand which will move into clothes and merchandising,” according to the London Sun. “She’s looking for business partners and tattoo artists to come in on it with her.”  . . .  Paris Hilton has a song on her new album that addresses one of her many woes: how guys battle for her affections: “Fightin’ Over Me.”  . . . The crooning heiresses’s efforts, however, are not impressing critics. “She sounds both distracted and bored stiff, as if making an album is keeping her from the more serious business of standing around a nightclub in a pair of really enormous sunglasses,” opined the critic in the London Guardian. “Listening to her sing Rod Stewart’s “Do Ya Think I’m Sexy,” you are gripped by the fear that civilization as we know it is doomed and that brimstone is going to start raining from the sky any minute. It doesn’t, but a sense of terrible foreboding is further stoked by the sleeve notes, which make reference to ‘all my albums to come.’”
