President Bush will attend an Asia-Pacific economic meeting in Vietnam next month and will meet separately with the Vietnamese leaders, President Nguyen Minh Triet and Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung, White House spokesman Tony Snow said Monday.

The president will meet with the Vietnamese leaders on Nov. 17, then also will have separate sessions in Hanoi with other leaders of member nations of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation group, meeting there Nov. 18-19, Snow said.

While in Vietnam, Bush will visit Ho Chi Minh City, formerly the South Vietnam capital, Saigon.

From Vietnam Bush will travel to Singapore and Indonesia before returning home.
