A helicopter carrying workers from an oil platform crashed into the North Sea off the Dutch coast overnight but everybody on board was rescued, the Dutch coast guard said on Wednesday.
A coast guard spokesman said the helicopter crashed after picking up the workers from the British-owned oil platform, where there had been a power blackout.
“All 17 people on board were rescued,” he said, adding one had symptoms of hypothermia.
The Dutch news agency ANP said the helicopter crashed about 15 miles off the coast near the northern town of Den Helder.
