Omaha police believed a 62-year-old man fatally shot his daughter, her husband and her two young sons before turning the gun on himself early Sunday.

Police responded to a radio call just before 1 a.m. and found five people shot inside a west Omaha home. All were dead except Jamie Lee, 26, who died later at a hospital.

Investigators believe Lee’s father, Richard Wilkinson, shot her and her family before committing suicide, police Sgt. Teresa Negron said.

“We’re continuing the investigation to attempt to determine what occurred in that residence,” said Negron.

Also killed were Lee’s husband, Darrell Lee, 35, and her sons Michael Wilkinson, 6, and Jacob Shinabarger, 3. All five people lived in the home, authorities said.
