Every night at 8 p.m. on MSNBC, Keith Olbermann awards his daily pick for "Worst Person in the World." On Friday, April 6th, he made "Worst Person" history with a first-ever "Best Person in the World" award.

On Fox News Channel's "The O'Reilly Factor" Thursday night, host Bill O'Reilly exchanged heated words with Geraldo Rivera over a drunk driving case. A man— an illegal immigrant— was charged with manslaughter after crashing into another car in Virginia Beach. Two teenage girls were killed. On his broadcast, O'Reilly used the tragic deaths to make a point about illegal immigration. Rivera argued that O'Reilly shouldn't be turning a drunken driving tragedy into an illegal immigration issue.

For the record, the father of one of the girls killed by a drunk driver attended a news conference in Virginia Beach last night, at which he said, "We need to heal. And to bring immigration, that's disrespectful to a family who's just mourning."

Amen.

And relative to our segment here... tonight, for the first and possibly the last time ever...

We declare Geraldo Rivera, today's “Best Person in the World”!
