International Business Machines Corp. said Monday it signed a $12 million deal to run information technology services for Colombian airline Avianca.

IBM said that under the contract it will administer the airline's data center operations, offer onsite and help desk support and support server systems for Avianca, among other services.

IBM shares lost 31 cents at $106.23 Monday.
