Building on the success of its popular World Blog, msnbc.com has launched Field Notes, a new blog offering consumers a dynamic look at domestic and trends across the nation. NBC News correspondents and producers, on assignment and in bureaus across the country, will provide fresh insight and analysis on beyond the day’s headlines.  

Field Notes’ contributors will analyze different perspectives, expand upon local angles and offer new elements of domestic stories, both big and small, providing consumers with unique snapshots and anecdotes that don’t always make the .  The original reporting, in conjunction with web-extra video and photos, brings to life and provides readers with compelling content as they explorethe fuller spectrum of news, insights and analysis offered on .
