Two Milwaukee police officers have been shot on Milwaukee's south side.

MILWAUKEEE - Two Milwaukee police officers have been shot on Milwaukee's south side. Sources tell TODAY'S TMJ4 the officers were trying to pick up a murder suspect near 14th & Greenfield Avenue. One officer was shot in the leg. The other was shot in the groin. Both are expected to survive. One officer is 31, the other is 26. Three other people were also shot. One near 14th and Greenfield, two near 12th and Madison. Police also recovered some drugs. Police aren't sure how all of the shootings are connected, but they are investigating. The shooting happened about 7:30 Tuesday night.
