Virginia
Blue Ridge Mountains (Sperryville), from $399
The Active Girl Gourmet Getaway weekend package includes two nights' accommodations at the House on Water Street, a 107-year-old three-bedroom farmhouse in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Rappahannock County, about 90 minutes from Washington, D.C. Continental breakfast daily and dinner on Saturday at The Inn at Little Washington are included. You can choose to hike the 3,291-foot-tall Old Rag Mountain—home to 200 species of bird, 50 species of mammal, and 51 types of reptiles and amphibians—on your own, or add $50 per person for a hiking guide from Shenandoah Mountain Guides. (The fee includes trekking poles, a day pack, water bottles, and lunch.) Spa treatments start from $70 per person for a 60-minute massage at nearby Nature's Way Day Spa; $75 at the Inn at Little Washington; and $85 to have a masseuse come to the House on Water Street. Rates start from $399 per person for two nights, which reflects a 10 percent discount. Extend the package for $95 per room per night.

Oregon
Rogue River, from $890
The Yoga and White-water package features three nights' camping along the Rogue River in southern Oregon. Tents, sleeping bags, air mattresses, all meals, and round-trip transfers from Galice Lodge (your base just outside of Grants Pass) to the river put-in point to begin the camping trip are all included, as are white-water rafts. Each tent comfortably sleeps two and single travelers will get their own tent. The Rogue River features rapids, warm water, and a wooded canyon brimming with wildlife, including black bears, bald eagles and river otters. Participants can unwind with daily yoga sessions led by experienced instructor Dennis Eagan, who graduated from Rodney Yee's Advanced Studies Program at the Piedmont Yoga Studio in 1998. Rates start from $895 per person ($725 for kids ages 7 to 17).

Florida
Fort Myers Beach, from $1,965
The Women's Spa-Sail Escape Week package includes six nights' accommodations—for the price of five—at the 225-room Pink Shell Beach Resort and Spa. It's located at the tip of Estero Island, a seven-mile-long barrier island commonly known as Fort Myers Beach. The highlight of the package is an Offshore Sailing School's sailing or power-cruising course of your choice: "learn to sail" for beginners, the intermediate "performance sailing," or "bareboat cruising preparation." Each course consists of a total of 14 hours of on-the-water instruction sessions Monday through Thursday on a sailboat or powerboat, six hours of seminars, a solo practice sail or power cruise (without an instructor aboard) on Friday, and a gala graduation dinner with certification awards on Friday night. A course-appropriate textbook and a copy of Doris Colgate's"Sailing: A Woman's Guide" are included. Other perks include a certificate for up to three spa packages of your choice to be used at the hotel's Aquagene Spa, an icebreaker party upon your arrival on Sunday, a dinner gathering on Wednesday, and a souvenir T-shirt.
