Police arrested an 18-year-old man Tuesday after four people died in a stabbing at a home, The Sitka Daily Sentinel reported.

Police said three people were found dead at the residence. A fourth victim died later at a hospital.

Police Chief Sheldon Schmitt said they received a 911 call from a cell phone at 11:44 a.m. The caller said he was outside the home and told the dispatcher that there was a "guy outside stabbing people."

The dispatcher said she could hear people screaming in the background.

Police Lt. Barry Allen said responding officers arrested 18-year-old Jason Abbott outside the house with a five-inch knife. The arresting charge wasn't immediately clear, and police didn't return phones after the incident.

Police used a Taser to subdue Abbott. He suffered a cut over his eye when he fell on the knife, and was hospitalized.
