The state's tourism agency has secured three additional flights to accommodate displaced ticket holders for ATA and Aloha airlines, which recently shutdown.
The Hawaii Tourism Authority says $300 flights from Honolulu to Los Angeles are scheduled for Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday morning on Hawaiian Holdings Inc.'s Hawaiian Airlines.
There is also a flight scheduled for Wednesday from Los Angeles to Honolulu.
Reservations for the special charter flights must be made through Panda Travel. Only ATA and Aloha ticket holders are eligible for the flights.
The tourism authority has approved spending $5 million in emergency funds to assist the estimated 9,000 visitors stranded in Hawaii.
Both ATA and Aloha stopped flying last week after filing for bankruptcy protection.
