Dreaming of a French Polynesian holiday but don’t want to squander your savings? We found a deal not to miss, on offer by Tahiti Vacations. A five-day foray to this exotic island paradise now sells for $1,263! This remarkable price includes air from L.A., all transfers and a four-night stay split between the islands of Tahiti and Moorea. One night is at three-star Hotel Tiare in Papeete, Tahiti; the other three are at midrange Hotel Kaveka on Moorea. Good for travel through June 1, the package must be booked by May 30.
Six-night Tahiti getaway for $1,899
Another fantastic French Polynesian holiday has been released by Virgin Vacations. A six-night escape to Tahiti, valid for travel through May 31, is now priced at only $1,899. If you book this low-cost deal, you’ll be getting airfare from Los Angeles to Papeete, with airport transfers and a lei greeting upon arrival. In addition, the price covers a sojourn at a centrally located three-star hotel in Papeete, the island’s capital. The price goes up by only $100 for summer and fall departures, between June 1 and October 31.
Bora Bora escape for only $2,599
We also spotted an excellent escape to the gorgeous island of Bora Bora. Tahiti Travel Planners offers a heavenly six-day holiday for just $2,599 for departures (Mon., Wed. or Fri.) through May 31. The package comes with air from L.A. (or New York at low extra cost); all transfers; one night in Papeete at Sofitel Tahiti Resort and a five-night sojourn in a bungalow at Bora Bora Lagoon Resort, with a complimentary dinner for two. Two upscale options are available, too, running up in price to $3,269 for a deluxe stay at Pearl Beach Resort & Spa.
The dollars
The above quoted rates are quoted per person, based on double occupancy. As stated above, the Tahiti and Moorea special — excellently priced for the inclusions — is valid for travel through June 1, and again between October 31 and December 10. For all the deals above, we checked the price of flights from Los Angeles during the valid season of travel and found that airfare only would cost you almost as much as the total price of the hotel-inclusive packages!
