Police officers took a man into custody Thursday outside a Pennsylvania bank where they believed hostages were being held.
NBC affiliate WPXI reported that 11 hostages were released from the PNC bank in McKeesport, then the man walked out of the bank with his hands in the air. Police with their guns drawn then handcuffed him.
Local and federal authorities had responded after reports that someone was robbing the bank.
Police confirmed they were dealing with a bank robbery but wouldn't comment further. PNC also would not comment.
No shots were fired and no injuries reported.
