The deal
Spring and early summer is an ideal time to head to the Caribbean: The weather's glorious and, better yet, prices have come down from their winter highs. Beach lovers will get the best of all worlds: affordability, balmy climes, and fewer crowds to boot. We found a trio of discounted island vacations, all inclusive of superior accommodation and airfare. These four-night holidays on Bermuda, Aruba and Grand Cayman start at a mere $933!

Bermuda holiday for $1,207
To enjoy luxury perks at three-star prices, we suggest the steal of a Bermuda deal we found on Expedia. This four-night escape is now priced at just $1,207 for spring and early summer travel, through June 30. It covers round-trip airfare from New York and lodging at exclusive Fairmont Southampton Hotel, a hilltop spot described by Frommers.com as a “the largest and most luxurious property on the island”. Its top-notch facilities include seven restaurants; a private beach club; and an 18-hole golf course.

Escape to Aruba for $933
Dreaming of an Aruba getaway? Expedia offers a hefty discount off a four-night holiday at Renaissance Aruba Resort & Casino. This special is priced at $933, with air from NY. At this four-star property on a white-sand beach, you can experience the island's most exciting shopping, dining, and nightlife without leaving the premises. It features 15 fine restaurants and bars, including the gourmet L'Escale, rated by Fodor’s as “one of Aruba's best”; three pools; two casinos; six cinemas; a theater; and over 100 shops and boutiques.

Grand Cayman for $1,500

For a sampling of tropical delights on Grand Cayman, we suggest a five-star sojourn right on the famous Seven Mile Beach. Expedia offers a four-night stay at The Ritz-Carlton here, with air from New York, priced at just $1,500. Good for travel through June 30, this holiday covers a stay at a top-rated property set on 144 beachfront acres. The New York Times writes, “the Ritz is all about tasteful opulence, with partnerships with La Prairie spa and Eric Ripert, chef of Le Bernardin in New York, ratcheting up the luxury factor.”

The dollars
The rates above are listed per person, based on double occupancy. Compared to the peak winter season, the package prices have dropped remarkably in all three cases. We’ve looked at hotel rates at each of these properties and they reflect hefty discounts over high-season stays.

The catch
If you're looking for a hopping Caribbean getaway, you've chosen the wrong season; things tend to get much quieter this time of year.
