Virginia's official tourism site has tons of trip ideas and vacation packages from around the state for viewing the fall colors.
It's a little early yet, but weather.com is a good source for data and predictions on when the foliage colors will peak in a certain area. Your state tourism Web site might also have peak maps—see Michigan's and West Virginia's as examples.
