The Israeli military said it had launched an investigation after a local TV station aired video allegedly showing soldiers humiliating a bound and blindfolded Palestinian prisoner.
The pictures screened by Channel 10 showed a man forced to repeat Hebrew phrases. Some referred to the Golani infantry brigade, while some were of a sexual nature.
The TV would not say where the incident occurred or showed alleged abusers but it said they were Golani troops who filmed the proceedings for their own amusement.
A military statement condemned the behavior shown in Thursday's broadcast.
