Four Marines have been charged in Southern California with the execution-style killings of an Iraq war veteran and his wife.

The Marines were charged Wednesday in the death of 24-year-old Marine Sgt. Jan Pietrzak and 26-year-old Quiana Jenkins-Pietrzak.

They were found gagged, tied and shot in the head last month in their home in Winchester. Investigators say it had been ransacked and jewelry and other items taken.

Charged with murder are 18-year-old Lance Cpl. Emrys John; 20-year-old Lance Cpl. Tyrone Miller; 20-year-old Pvt. Kevin Cox; and 21-year-old Lance Cpl. Kesaun Sykes. All are being held without bail.

Pietrzak was a mechanic at Miramar Marine Corps Air Station in San Diego. John and Miller worked for him.
