The male half of a jet-setting Philadelphia couple has been ordered to serve four years in prison in a $100,000 identity-theft scheme.

The sentence given Friday to 25-year-old Edward Anderton is one year less than that given to his ex-girlfriend, Jocelyn Kirsch.

Kirsch's sentence was more severe because she continued to commit crimes after their arrest. Anderton told the judge Friday he was a large part of Kirsch's downfall.

The two admit they stole the identities of friends and neighbors to obtain luxury goods and take lavish trips. Travel photos of the stylish young couple have been widely circulated.

Anderton is a University of Pennsylvania graduate. Kirsch attended Drexel University.
