I am a Ski Patrolman at Pebble Creek. I see this a lot. I happen to have a new camera with me and I was very supprised at the photos. There are several more, but these are my favorates. The 1st 3 were when we were closing the hill for the night and the sun was setting behind the trees. The temperature was dropping fast. It was approaching 0, but the photos are beautiful

Carey O'Donnell of Palm Beach, Florida illustrates the exquisite experience of helicopter skiing in the Bobbie Burns wilderness in British Columbia last April. Waist-deep powder snow, light as a feather even in the warm, late-spring temperatures, is the ultimate skier's daydream (photos like this one are also known affectionately as "ski porn!"). Carey has more than a million vertical feet of powder skiing logged with Canadian Mountain Holidays, the longest-running heli-ski outfitter in North America.
