A schoolteacher accused of fleeing Massachusetts with a 15-year-old male student has pleaded not guilty to a charge of enticing a minor.

Lisa Lavoie was arraigned Friday in Holyoke District Court, in western Massachusetts.

The 24-year-old Lavoie — who's been fired from her job at a Holyoke elementary school — was brought back under police escort Thursday.

Lavoie and the teen were reported missing Feb. 16 and were found a week later at a West Virginia motel. Lavoie was arrested and the boy was returned to his family. The boy's parents had complained to the school about the teacher's relationship with their son.

Judge Kenneth Cote set Lavoie's bail at $25,000 and ordered her to stay with her mother. Her attorney says he expects she'll be released Friday.
