The deal
The brief window of time when flights to a number of European cities could be had for under $400 has all but elapsed. When April rolls around it unfortunately brings more than just rain showers, and although airfare costs are still considerably less than this time last year, the jaw-dropping, did-I-read-that-right rates to most European nations have fizzled, but yet Ireland remains as affordable as ever.

US Airways has just posted round-trip fares to Dublin from as little as $272 for travel through May 24. These reduced fares are available from seven major cities, so you have plenty of ways to save a wee bit of green on Emerald Isles flights this spring.

The dollars
US Airways has posted the following round-trip sample fares to Dublin from:

  • Boston: $272
  • Philadelphia: $273
  • Chicago: $287
  • Pittsburgh: $295
  • Washington, D.C: $295
  • Charlotte: $319
  • Phoenix: $405

The catch
Fares are valid for travel from Monday through Thursday.
