Ingredients:
- 1.5 oz French vermouth (That's the white/dry kind, not the red -- you gotta use fresh vermouth -- it goes bad, just like wine does.)
- 1.5 oz Fino or Amontillado Sherry (Yes, sherry goes bad, too.)
- 2 dashes orange bitters
- 2 drops angostura bitters (Drops! Not dashes!)
Preparation:
Stir with ice gently, but for a long time -- till the drink is very cold. Strain into a nice stemmed glass. Squeeze a thin swath of lemon rind over the top of the drink, then throw the rind away. Serve with a pimento-stuffed olive. Yum.
