He has covered a wide range of stories, including Hurricane Katrina, the Sydney Olympics, the Super Bowl, and the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan. His freelance work has appeared in Time, Newsweek, Sports Illustrated, The New York Times, Washington Post, L.A. Times.

Mike Stuckey
Reporter Mike Stuckey worked on the msnbc.com launch team in 1996 and has been employed at the Web site full-time since 1997. Previously, he worked at California newspapers for 25 years and was a member of the San Jose Mercury News staff that won the Pulitzer Prize for coverage of the 1989 Loma Prieta earthquake.
