Even though this promotion caters to couples, children are allowed at all the participating resorts — except at Turkoise in Turks and Caicos. If you are shopping for a family vacation, we recommend this package instead. Read these guidelines before you book any Real Deal.

Book by: April 30, 2009.

Contact: Club Med Resorts, 888/932-2582, clubmed.us.

Why it's a deal: The Couples Escapes promotion offers more than 40 percent off Club Med's regular nightly rates.

Lodging: Choose from a number of Club Med resorts in: Mexico (Cancún Yucatán, Ixtapa Pacific), Dominican Republic (Punta Cana), Turks and Caicos (Turkoise), Guadeloupe (La Caravelle), and Martinique (Buccaneer's Creek). Each resort is all-inclusive, meaning all your meals and drinks are covered. You can also take advantage of included on-site activities, such as horseback riding, tennis, scuba diving, and windsurfing.

More:Columbus Isle in the Bahamas is offering this same special at higher rates — starting at $849 per person. Add nights at any resort from $114 per person. Upgrade to an Ocean View Room for $75 per person.

Before you go: Airport shuttle transfers are included if you book your airfare through Club Med.
