Doctors print up 3-D splint for baby's blocked throat

Kaiba Gionfriddo was only a few months old when he began turning blue again and again as his little airways collapsed and kept air from reaching his lungs. But doctors were able to use a device based on an inkjet printer to custom-make a splint that is holding his airway open and helping him breathe.
