Police in Colorado say a pregnant woman suffered minor injuries when she was struck by a car while fleeing from an adult black bear.

    1. C'mon — what's not to like?

Hoof it over to Facebook to join the weird news herd.

Police say they're looking for the driver of the car that hit 26-year-old Ashley Swendsen on Thursday in Colorado Springs. An official at Memorial Hospital says Swendsen is in good condition.

Michael Seraphin of the state Division of Wildlife says the woman is about five months pregnant.

The agency says it has captured a bear, but it isn't immediately clear whether the animal was the one chasing Swendsen. It says the incident occurred in an open area where bears are common.

Police say the motorist who hit Swendsen stopped and spoke to her but left before authorities arrived.
