Marisa Buchanan will be serving as an embedded reporter/producer for MSNBC and NBC News, following former Gen. Wesley Clark, across the country and throughout his presidential campaign.
Buchanan joined NBC as a researcher for “NBC Nightly News” in August 2002. Prior to her position as a researcher, she worked as a world broadcast journalist with the BBC in London. Previously, she was an associate producer at NBC’s WDIV-TV in Detroit, where she won a Regional Emmy Award for her work in an investigation of the Detroit police department. Buchanan graduated from the University of Michigan with a bachelor of arts in history and film and video studies.

Embedded with: Rep. Dennis Kucinich’s campaign

Karin Caifa serves as an embedded reporter and producer for MSNBC and NBC News, following Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D-Ohio) across the country throughout his presidential campaign.
Known as a “political junkie,” Caifa was previously a news associate for CNBC’s “Capital Report.” Prior to that, she was a production assistant for the 2002 NBC Winter Olympic Games, and has also served as a reporter and editorial assistant for Congressional Quarterly’s “Daily Monitor” in Washington D.C. Caifa graduated from Johns Hopkins University in Maryland, with a bachelor of arts in international relations and graduate-level course work in government and political economy. She is a candidate for a master of science from the Columbia University School of Journalism.

PRIYA DAVID
Embedded with: Rep. Richard Gephardt’s campaign

Priya David is an embedded reporter/producer for MSNBC and NBC News, following Rep. Richard Gephardt (D-Mo.) on his presidential campaign trail. David served as a news associate for NBC News since July 2002. She has served as general assignment reporter for the NBC affiliate WVTM-TV in Alabama, researcher for “NBC Nightly News” and associate producer for NBC’s “Dateline.” She previously hosted and was supervising producer for the cable program “Image” in California.
David graduated from Westmont College with a bachelor of arts in anthropology. She received her master’s degree in journalism from the University of California.

Becky Diamond is an embedded reporter for NBC News and MSNBC, following Sen. John Kerry (D-Mass) across the country and throughout his presidential campaign.
Diamond was most recently a correspondent/producer for MSNBC. Previously, she was an embedded reporter for CNN during the war in Iraq. She was also a field producer for CNN and worked for ABC News in London. Becky traveled to Iraq for a month in May 2002 and shot a documentary that aired on National Geographic Explorer. She worked as a video journalist for Oxygen Media where she shot and produced a documentary on Dinka tribeswomen in Southern Sudan. She has also produced and shot stories in Gaza, the West Bank, Israel, Kosovo and Bosnia. Diamond has also served as a Foreign Service associate assigned to the U.S. Embassy in Tel Aviv.
Diamond graduated from the University of Colorado with a bachelor of arts in European history. She received her master’s degree from NYU in Near Eastern Affairs.

TOM LLAMAS
Embedded with: Rev. Al Sharpton’s campaign

Tom Llamas will be following presidential candidate Rev. Al Sharpton (D-NY) across the country as an embedded reporter/producer for MSNBC and NBC News.
Llamas was previously an associate producer for MSNBC’s “Lester Holt Live.” Prior to that, he was an associate producer for MSNBC’s “Nachman,” and a production assistant to MSNBC’s Newsforce where he produced NBC News London and CNBC segments for morning programming.
Llamas graduated from Loyola University in New Orleans with a bachelor of arts in journalism and theater.

Serving as an embedded producer and reporter for NBC News and MSNBC, Dugald McConnell follows Sen. John Edwards (D-NC) all over the country and throughout his presidential campaign.
Recently, McConnell was a producer for Fox’s “The Edge with Paula Zahn”, and “On the Record with Greta Van Susteren”. Prior to that, he produced MSNBC’s “Internight” and “The Big Show”, and was also an associate producer with the NBC News Election Unit.
McConnell received his bachelor of arts from Princeton University. He is a candidate for an MPA at Harvard University.

FELIX SCHEIN
Embedded with: Dr. Howard Dean’s campaign

Felix Schein will be following Democratic presidential candidate Dr. Howard Dean across the country as an embedded reporter/producer for MSNBC and NBC News.
Schein was most recently a senior associate producer with NBC News’ “Today.” He joined “Today” in 2001 having previously worked as an associate producer with “NBC Nightly News,” where he acted as chief researcher, news analyst and editorial aide to NBC News Chief Foreign Affairs Correspondent Andrea Mitchell. Prior to that, Schein served as an editorial assistant and researcher for NBC News in Washington, DC. Schein began his career as a public relations intern for Sen. John Kerry (D-Mass.).
Schein graduated with honors from the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University, receiving a bachelor of science in foreign service and international law, and has also studied in England, Munich and Singapore.

DIONNE SCOTT
Embedded with: Sen. Joe Lieberman’s campaign

Dionne Scott follows presidential candidate Sen. Joe Lieberman (D-Conn.) across the country as an embedded reporter/producer for MSNBC and NBC News.
Scott was previously a segment producer for MSNBC, working on “Lester Holt Live.” She joined MSNBC in 2000 as an associate producer/writer for “Equal Time.” Prior to joining MSNBC, Scott was a producer at WPIX-TV in New York City, and a production assistant with PBS’ “Frontline.” Scott began her career as an assistant editor/researcher for Time-Life Books.
Scott earned her master’s degree in broadcast journalism from New York University, and also attended a graduate publishing program at Harvard University. She graduated from Stanford University with a bachelor of arts in history and feminist studies.
