Man shot several times in Springfield Springfield detectives are looking for whoever shot a man several times in the Forest Park section of the city Tuesday night.Springfield Police Captain Cheryl Clapprood told 22News that the shot-spotter indicated seven shots were fired at about 8:00 PM Tuesday. When police arrived at 273 Orange Street, they found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Captain Clapprood described the victim's condition as "serious." Captain Clapprood did not know who fired the shots, but she said police are looking for an older model silver car that was seen leaving the area of the shooting.
