A Washington woman accused of killing her four daughters told police that her girls were possessed by demons.

A D.C. judge is spending a second day reviewing a recording of a police interrogation of Banita Jacks. The decomposing bodies of Jacks' daughters — ages 5 to 17 — were discovered in January 2008 when U.S. marshals came to evict her from her home.

Judge Frederick Weisberg is deciding whether to admit the interview as evidence in her trial. Jacks' attorneys want it excluded.

In the interview, Jacks told detectives that she had to help contain demons that lived in her daughters' bodies.

Jacks says her daughters inexplicably died in their sleep. Authorities say the oldest daughter was stabbed and the others strangled.
