The deal
Heading to a ski resort during the summer may seem a bit crazy, but each year more resorts are remaining open year-round, and as the competition grows, rates are reaching all-time lows.

The Colorado giant, Copper Mountain, is offering a number of vacation packages full of fun activities, and now they’re tossing in free scenic chairlift rides, to boot. Plus, accommodations are drastically reduced so you’ll save as much as 40 percent off normal summer rates, which are already marked down from peak-season winter prices.

Travelers can choose from a number of package options including golf, spa, mountain biking, and hiking. For families, there’s also an adventure-filled package complete with a slew of activities like mini-golf, go-carts, a rock-climbing wall, and even bumper boats on the lake.

The Copper calendar has plenty of events planned all summer long such as live music, guitar workshops, marathons, outdoor movies, and more. In addition, as part of this limited time offer, resort guests will receive free scenic chairlift rides up Copper’s 11,375-foot mountain. Package prices start at $69 per person, per night for travel through September 7.
