The deal
Hawaii’s top-notch beaches, serene outdoor settings and fascinating culture attract millions of tourists each year. And now, Norwegian Cruise Line is offering a great deal that will allow guests to experience the best of Hawaii, both on shore and on the water. Our editors uncovered a seven-night cruise package aboard the Norwegian’s Pride of America that will have you saying “Aloha!” to Hawaii’s tourist-friendly ports.

The ship embarks from Honolulu on Dec. 10 and spends two days in Maui where guests can relax on the sun-drenched shores or venture into the jungle and find hidden cascading waterfalls. Next, the ship calls on the port of Hilo which is home to volcanoes oozing fiery-orange molten lava. The Pride of America also visits Kona — a perfect place for diving, snorkeling and deep-sea fishing. Before returning to Honolulu, the ship spends a day and a half docked in Kauai, where the steep-sloping mountains meet the warm Pacific Ocean waters.

But that’s not all. Included in this sailing is a two-night pre-cruise stay with daily breakfast in Honolulu at the Waikiki Resort Hotel which is a half-block from the beach and in close proximity to other major attractions. A two-night stay would normally cost about $260. Plus, you’ll also receive a free sightseeing tour of Honolulu and visit the famous Pearl Harbor and USS Arizona Memorials. Tours typically cost around $34 for an adult.

This 10-day Hawaii package deal is priced as low as $999 for inside cabins. Oceanview staterooms are only $150 more at $1,149.

The dollars
All prices are per person and based on double occupancy. Accommodations, meals, some beverages, entertainment and port charges are covered in the cost. Government fees and taxes as well as off-boat expenditures are extra.

The catch
Airfare is not included and flights to Hawaii can be expensive.
