Toyota says will recall 242,000 hybrids for brake design flaw

TOKYO (Reuters) - Toyota Motor Corp <7203.T> is recalling about 242,000 gas-electric hybrid vehicles worldwide, including the bestselling Prius model, due to a brake design flaw, the automaker said on Wednesday. Full story

Camry, Prius earn poor crash test ratings

  Tests involving the front corner panel of the Toyota Prius and Toyota Camry conducted by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety earned both cars a poor rating. NBC’s Tom Costello reports.
