Little League returns to Long Island town
After Hurricane Sandy destroyed Island Park’s field, fences and equipment, a nonprofit stepped in to donate much-needed items lost in the storm. It was a homerun for the kids, who got a chance to return to the sport that they love. NBC’s Stephanie Gosk reports.
Man fined $500 for laughing in his home
Long Island resident Robert Schiavelli has what can only be described as a unique laugh, which so bothered his neighbor that the man called the police. Now Schiavelli is facing $500 in fines or a month in jail. NBC’s Andrea Canning reports.
