Sanitation strikers recall MLK’s death

   It’s been 45 years since Martin Luther King Jr. was killed after coming to Memphis, Tenn., to support the sanitation workers’ strike. Two of the men who demonstrated in the streets that day spoke with NBC’s Ann Curry about their fight to make a better community for their families.

King III: ‘I look at the good that has come in our nation’

   On the balcony of the Lorraine Motel in Memphis, the place his father was assassinated 45 years ago, Martin Luther King III tells NBC’s Ann Curry about his mother’s bravery and courage in the days following father’s death and about the memories he has of his father.
