The deal
The acclaimed Greenbrier luxury resort has a reputation for great deals and entertainment. Stretching across 6,500 lush acres in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia, The Greenbrier offers a diversity of programs and children’s activities, indoor and outdoor pools, and a rich history which dates back to 1778.

Now, Greenbrier announces yet another venture, which is sure to delight old and prospective patrons alike: The brand-new 3,700-square-foot Monte Carlo-style Tavern Casino — and a terrific bargain to match.

This fall, in celebration of the grand opening of the Tavern Casino, The Greenbrier is introducing The New Players’ Package. From now until December 27 2009, rooms are only $99/night —quite a steal considering rates run at $275/night for a Standard Room. With the New Players’ package, guests receive VIP access to the new casino, which features 44 slots, Blackjack, Roulette, and Three-Card Poker.

All of this, and more, is in a guests-only setting. Gamers will also receive $150 in Match Play coupons. These coupons are good for even-money bets on table games, and are considered the most valuable coupons offered in any casino; Match Play allows the player an advantage against the casino on bets. Other resort amenities include over 50 activities ranging from whitewater rafting, golf, fly-fishing, falconry, off-road driving, and horseback riding, to wine-tasting, art colony tours, spa treatments, movie nights, and carriage rides — so go ahead, choose your own adventure.
