The deal
Winter may have just begun, but if you’re already tired of being cooped up inside due to inclement weather, then you should consider fleeing to Trinidad and Tobago. Le Grand Courlan Spa Resort is promoting a 5-night beach getaway with Travel by Spa Week from just $700 — a great price considering nightly rates alone can be as high as $170.

This Caribbean Spa Getaway package also calls for free daily breakfast (a $144 value) at the resort’s Pinnacle Restaurant. And, here’s where the spa comes into play: Guests can choose from an individual, private introductory massage (valued at $60) for 30 minutes or opt to have a couples’ rub-down (regularly $120 per person) for a half hour.

Plus, visitors can use the resort’s gym and tennis courts free of charge. Just be sure to lock in this special hotel package soon because although travel is valid through December 2010, this offer must be booked by December 31, 2009.

The dollars
Rates are based on double occupancy. Taxes and fees are additional.

The catch
If you go in January, you won’t pay an arm and a leg for airfare, but you’ll miss Trinidad and Tabago’s legendary Carnival celebration, which is scheduled for February 15 and 16.
