Organization of America States backs fragile El Salvador gang truce

SAN SALVADOR (Reuters) - Jose Miguel Insulza, the secretary general of the Organization of American States, gave his support to a fragile truce between El Salvador's gangs on Thursday, despite a recent uptick in murders.Full story

WASHINGTON (AP) - In a story July 16 about asylum requests, The Associated Press reported erroneously the name of the agency that compiled the figures. It was U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, not Immigrations and Customs Enforcement. Full story
