WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Putting off one of the most high-profile consequences of the broad U.S. "sequester" budget cuts, the Federal Aviation Administration on Friday delayed plans to close air-traffic control towers at 149 smaller airports. Full story

  Those federal budget cuts called the “sequester" have claimed another victim-- air traffic control towers at small and medium-sized airports across the country. Some critics are concerned that it could affect safety. NBC's Pete Williams reports.
