Why it's a deal: In order to calculate the cost of the airfare segments of this package, we searched for two separate flight routes on Kayak for travel in early February—one round-trip between Miami and Recife ($1,973 on United) and another round-trip between Recife and Fernando de Noronha ($1,015 on Gol Linhas Aereas).

The total comes to $2,988 per person for just the flights. For $67 more per person, including taxes, this package from JustBrazil covers the flights as well as six nights' accommodations, transfers, and a few sightseeing activities, with the convenience of all-in-one booking. Although the rate will be higher during Brazil's popular Carnaval festival, this trip offers an affordable way to see the area just before or just after the celebration—when the hotels and streets won't be so crowded.

More: This tour is completely customizable, so nights can be added in Recife or Fernando de Noronha, although for the latter you'll need to plan ahead; only a certain number of people are allowed on the island each day.
